Vaseline photograph again. Cant remember the quote, but this is when the police officer is handing over the murdered girls jingle bell hat to her family. Its quite melancholy this one. Though I suppose the whole book is.

I used vaseline on the lense of the camera to create this effect. I like how dreamy it looks. To me it looks as though it is a distant memory that is starting to fade into nothing. It’s from the same quote, “She had a stare that stretched into infinity.”
